The under-14 boys basketball team of APS Dagshai brought home the CBSE Cluster title and will compete in the CBSE Nationals. Additionally, both our under-17 boys and girls teams placed second in their respective tournaments.

ISLRTC has successfully signed an MoU with the AWES, Shankar Vihar, New Delhi under the chairpersonship of the Secretary, DEPWD, on 8th August 2024 at DEPWD, New Delhi... This MoU aims to train school administrators, students, parents, and teachers in promoting Indian Sign Language, enhancing sign language skills among Army Public School faculty. Dr. N. Honnareddy, Director of ISLRTC, and Maj Gen P.R.Murali, Managing Director, AWES, signed and exchanged the MoUs, marking a significant step towards collaboration and development in the field of Indian Sign Language. This collaboration will enhance the reach and efficacy of ISL initiatives, contributing to the empowerment and inclusion of the Deaf community. Col KK Sharma, Director Schools AWES, Ms. Manisha Verma, faculty, Inclusive Education, AWES, and Dr. Abhishek Kr. Srivastava, Asst. Professor, ISLRTC were also present.

Girls Basketball Team of APS Jorhat has secured First Position and Won Gold Medal in the prestigious CBSE North East Cluster-I Under 17. Girls Basketball tournament held at Miles Bronson Residential School, Ghy from 23 Sep to 25 Sep 2024.The team has qualified to participate in the CBSE National Basketball tournament to be held at Golden International School, INDORE,MADHYA PRADESH from 09 October to 13 October 2024.The team has also secured Second Position and Won Silver Medal in Cluster 1 U 19 Basketball Tournament.
